At The Srijan School we believe that along with academics, co-curricular activities contribute equally to the overall growth and development of a child. A child’s creative expression, self confidence, social, mental, spatial and sensory skills, social interaction and self-confidence mature with a healthy balance of the academic and co-curricular. The various activities offered at the school are:

Music: Indian and Western classical, folk and popular)

For an understanding of Indian as well as international arts.

Dance & Theatre:

Indian classical and modern dance forms and drama techniques for improving the child’s co-ordination, movement, expression and kinetic skills.

Arts and Craft:

Includes clay modeling and sculpture along with fine arts which provide creative modes of expression.

Debate and Public Speaking:

To help the children stay informed, to learn to articulate effectively and develop presentation skills and mediums of expression to enhance their self confidence.

Intra and Inter school Activities To allow them interaction with their peers and boost their confidence and enhance their communication skills.

To sensitise children so that they reach out to the community, to experience and respect diversity.

Environment Awareness:

To give them a keen understanding of the environment and their role and responsibility in it.

The Physical Culture programme:

Indoor and outdoor activities for physical growth, development and coordination are an integral part of the school programme.

The sports activities that are offered in the

school are skating, tennis, aerobics, taekwondo, yoga, cricket, basketball and football. The very young ones enjoy water activities in the splash pool.

Special coaching schemes under qualified coaches for cricket
and tennis are ongoing programme. Our young students have
been taking part in inter – school sports displays in aerobics and

Outstation Trips:

To help develop responsibility, co operation and independent decision making, children from class III onwards are taken for outstation trips.

These trips give an opportunity to children to strengthen the spirit of bonding and also the curiosity of the world around them. Summer / Autumn camps and adventure activities are also planned for our students annually.
