It’s too high
Come to the edge
We might fall
Come to the edge
And they came....
And she pushed
And they flew ….…
As an educationist, I have often wondered about the purpose of education - what it takes to empower children for a life driven by meaning and joy, what kind of curriculum and teaching practices are relevant in an intensely competitive, technology driven and fast evolving global economy, what it takes to be successful and yet centred, what takes a student to become a life-long learner and what is the legacy one may want to create, as an educationist……
We, at The Srijan School, address these intriguing questions.
We work with the underlying perspective that interdependence is fast growing, and a student has to make new connections, engaging his inner self in active learning and connect with the world around. We recognise that skills are required to invoke and build the capacity to learn and create. We strive to provide the best of opportunities in academics, sports and activities .We strengthen it with life skills to give each student a chance to weave his own success story .We see academic excellence as an outcome of what we do everyday at school.
Imbuing students with qualities of Excellence, Leadership and Humility inspires The Srijan School and its stakeholders; Students, Parents, Faculty, and Management. We are also eager to bequeath our rich cultural heritage and a promising future to the children without the risk of their losing their moral moorings.
We realise that this continual process of self discovery demands patience and diligence, but then we strengthen ourselves as a group and do not earmark straight lines as a mark of achievement. We allow a questioning mind, accept a fumbling step ,discover and develop core competencies , pack the curriculum with team work, immaculate planning ,sheer will power and motivation and applaud the effort it takes to advance towards ones’ potential .We recognize the difference between a gift and equipping every student with The Gift of Wings.
We welcome you to The Srijan School, where learning takes place in ways that are enduring, and to a world where every child counts and is guided to reach her and his potential.
